History 

 

The' Scouts Royale Brotherhood is an Organization for High School students which was founded at the back of San Sebastian Collage Churchyard on September 22, 1975 by the members of the Greek letter fraternity the Alpha Phi Omega (Alpha Delta chapter) by Len Toledo, Bong Manuel, Jun Cristobal, Vic Tomelden and Oscar "Cary" Lazo as National Adviser, With 37 chartered members lead by Vicente (Bing)Marabut "Il Duce"Italian pronunciation: [eel doo-che)]. The main purpose is to promulgate and expand the principles of Alpha Phi Omega which is LEADERSHIP FRIENDSHIP and SERVICE. Scouts Royale Brotherhood is for High School students only.

 

From being a fraternity exclusively for high school students, SRB evolved and developed into an independent international service fraternity catering to both high school and college students. While it evolved to be an independent and separate entity to that of Alpha Phi Omega (APO), SRB is a consistent ally and friend of all APO brothers united by a common and undeniable fraternal bloodline as well as optimum principles such as developing effective and democratic leadership, fostering friendship and rendering service to all
